Doti UML to boost poll boycott stir
Dipayal, January 15:
A civic campaign committee has been set up in Doti district, led by CPN-UML district member Sanchita Nanda Jogin, to boost the seven-party alliance’s movement for restoration of democracy in the nation.
The committee consisting of 25 members, including district-based lawyers, human rights activists, journalists and representatives of various organisations. the committee members will lend their support to the seven parties and civil society for restoration of democracy, freedom, justice and rights.The committee was formed after a mass gathering, recently in Silgudhi, the district headquarters of Doti.
“This committee is ready to protest any kind of oppression,” said Dipak Bahadur Singh, chairman of the Human Rights and Public Service Centre, Doti.
