Siraha, June 6

Siraha District Public Health Office has directed private health organisations to halt all services within seven days, citing their operation without meeting the criteria in the district.

Private health organisations and polyclinics in the district had neglected the frequent notifications regarding renewal of licence.

Lahan Life Care Hospital Pvt Ltd, Define Hospital Care Pvt Ltd, Friends Hospital, Kamana Nursing Home of Lahan, Sagarmatha Model Hospital Pvt Ltd, Ma Dhamini Hospital Pvt Ltd of Gobazaar, Bhujiya Hospital and Technical Development Pvt Ltd and Rekha Nursing Care and Diagnostic Centre Pvt Ltd in Mirchaiya have not renewed the licence of their health organisations.

Similarly, Aaditya Medicare Centre, Radha Krishna Dental Clinic in Lahan, All Friend Health Care Pvt Ltd, Chhaparadi and Sahalesh Polyclinic in Mirchaiya are operating without renewing their licence.

District Public Health Officer Umesh Lal Karna said the health organisations did not renew their licence even though they were provided two months time for the same. He said action would be taken against owners of the organisations if they were found operating without meeting the necessary criteria.

He informed that the owners of the organisations should close all health facilities within a week.
