KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari today assigned Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi to look after the daily administration functions of the Prime Minister as PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal embarked on a four-day visit to United Arab Emirates to participate in the World Future Energy Summit.

The assignment is given in accordance to the the Constitution of Nepal, as stated in the press release issued by the President's Office today.

Nidhi will assume the office until Dahal would return home on January 17.
