KATHMANDU, APRIL 11
Nepal Police has taken Durga Prasai and his associate Deepak Bohora into custody in connection with the violent pro-monarchy protest that took place in Tinkune, Kathmandu on Chaitra 15.
The duo was arrested from Bhadrapur, Jhapa earlier today.
According to a press statement released by the Central Police, Prasai had been absconding in relation to charges of organized crime and actions against the state. His associate, Bohora, was also allegedly involved in the incident.
Both individuals have been brought to Kathmandu for further investigation, confirmed central police spokesperson Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Dinesh Kumar Acharya.
