The Election Commission (EC) has urged voters to review their polling locations and make necessary corrections ahead of the House of Representatives election 2082.
In a notice issued on Monday, the EC said it has reviewed several polling centres for voter convenience. If any voter's name has been mistakenly placed, shifted, or omitted during the review, they may correct errors, remove names, or file claims and objections under the ongoing voter list update process until Mangsir 26.
The initiative is part of the EC's comprehensive review and reorganization of various polling centers to ensure maximum ease and convenience for the general electorate. The current voter list update program is intended to address any discrepancies before the official electoral roll is finalized.
Additionally, voters may request to shift their polling location to another centre within the same ward if they prefer a more convenient site.
Applications can be submitted at the concerned district election office or online via the EC's portal at applyvr.election.gov.np.
The EC urged all voters to verify their details and make necessary updates within the deadline.
