Nepali students willing to travel to Australia, Bangladesh, China, South Korea and Japan will not be certified  the No objection letter in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Education Ministry has temporarily suspended the issuance of No Objection Letter for the Nepali students willing to study abroad across five destination countries.

As per the press release issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology on Wednesday, the issuance of No Objection Letters for students departing abroad across five international destinations have been suspended until further notice.

In line with the guidelines, Nepali students willing to travel to Australia, Bangladesh, China, South Korea and Japan will not be certified the No objection letter in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic effective from Thursday.

The Ministry cited that the COVID-19 pandemic and mutant variants of the virus which have been detected in Nepal as well in times where the nation is grappling with the second wave of the highly contagious infection which led them to decide the aforementioned.
