Eight more Covid-19 patients died in course of treatment at two hospitals in Banke district on Saturday night.
Among them, five died while getting treated at Bheri Hospital while three died at the Kohalpur Teaching Hospital, informed Tej Oli, focal person of District Covid Crisis Management Centre
A 30-year-old woman of Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-1 of Bardiya; a 65-year-old woman of the Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-2; an 85-year-old woman of Dangisharan Rural Municipality-5, Dang; a 73-year-old man of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolis-15 and a 53-year-old woman of Nepalgunj-2 succumbed to the contagion.
Similarly, a 43-year-old man of Lamkichuha Municipality-1 in Kailali; a 49-year-old man of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-6 and a 43-year-old man of Nepalgunj-11 also died in course of treatment, added Oli.
