DANG: A man, who was critically injured after receiving an electric shock at Barahakhuti in Lalamatiya VDC – 7 of Dang on Saturday, died in course of treatment on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Sri Krishna Chaudhary (22) of Lalmatiya VDC – 2, according to the District Police Office, Dang.

Police said that five others were also injured in the incident.

It has been learned that the incident occurred while they were installing poles at  Barahakhuti in Lalamatiya VDC – 7.

The injured have been identified as Maniram Chaudhary (18) Ashok Chaudhary (19) Sitaram Chaudhary (23) and Prakash Chaudhary (23) of the same locality.

They are receiving treatment at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital, Butwal.
