BHOJPUR: Ram Bahadur Bishwakarma (60) of Shadananda Municipality-6 in northern Bhojpur was the first to receive the endoscopy service from neighbouring Sankhuwasabha District Hospital in Khandbari.

According to the chairperson of District Hospital Development Committee, Suman Shakya, the service began at the district hospital from Sunday.

With the starting of endoscopy facility in Sankhuwasabha, people of the region need not go to Dharan, Biratnagar, Kathmandu and other places seeking this service, making the locals happy.

The regular service will continue after two days of health-camp on Sunday and Monday, which will be carried out by Dr Bhupendra Basnet and his team from Bir Hospital, added District Hospital, Sankhuwasabha.
