Entrepreneurs seek to develop industrial corridor in Chitwan
Kathmandu, August 27
In a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at his residence in Baluwatar today, a Chitwan Industry Association delegation urged him to develop an industrial corridor at Shaktikhor.
Briefing that 2,500 bighas of useable land was available at Shaktikhor, the delegation stressed that the proposal to develop industrial corridor will help protect the land and propel economic prosperity.
The delegation also requested the prime minister for support in establishing industrial exhibition centre in Chitwan, shared Krishna Prasad Adhikari, an entrepreneur from Chitwan.
After discussion with the entrepreneurs, Prime Minister Dahal said that he was positive about taking ahead the agenda as it of strategic importance.
“The proposal to develop an industrial corridor in Chitwan is important. I will do the needful for this. The government will also make necessary efforts to facilitate establishment of an industrial expo centre,” PM Dahal told the delegation.
