KATHMANDU, MAY 17
A climber from Moldova died at Camp IV on Mt Everest this morning.
According to base camp officials, Victor Brinza from Moldova breathed his last after he fell ill at South Col, said the sources.
The climber was part of the expedition run by Himalayan Traverse Adventure. Efforts are underway to bring his body to Kathmandu, sources added.
This season, the death toll on Everest has reached six. Earlier, four Sherpa climbers and an American doctor died on Everest.
