CHITWAN: Ten months after his release from jail, a youth has been arrested along with two home made pistols and controlled drugs here in Chitwan.

The suspect has been identified as 25-year-old Ram Sedhain of Bhandara, according to District Police Office. Earlier, he convicted of robbery and illegal possession of lethal weapon and jailed for six years.

Police said they arrested Sedhain from Pulchok area of Narayangadh on Monday in possession of two pistols, four magazines and 25 tablets of Lorazepam.

He will be booked under Narcotics Drugs (Control) Act, 2033 (1976) and Arms and Ammunition Act, 2019 (1962) separately.

Sedhain was released from jail on March 18 last year.
