SINDHUPALCHOWK: Hand for Help Nepal, Rotary Club of Bhadgaun and Sahara Nepal Kavre have built poultry and pig farms for women quake victims of Kolta village in Sangachowk, Sindhupalchowk.

The farms were handed over to Shiladevi Women Group, comprising 14 members, amidst a function on Sunday.

According to Hand for Help Nepal Chairperson Badri Rai, 500 chicks and 14 piglets were also handed over to the group on the occasion.

“We hope the farms, chicks and piglets will help the women generate income,” said Rai, adding that various other necessary materials to run the farm were also handed on the occasion.
