FDNF’s warning

Damak, October 17:

General secretary of the Federal Democratic National Front (FDNF) Kumar Lingden has warned of dire consequences if the state failed to address demands of Limbuwan. He was speaking at a programme organised by the Front today to exchange greetings on the occasion of Vijaya Dashain. He said the agitation launched for establishment of the Federal Limbuwan State is not racial or communal, but a political one. “We are on the agitation for the Federal Limbuwan State and republic for the past two and half years. But the state has not paid any attention,” Lingden further said.

Lingden said the upcoming agitation will be planned in such a way that it gives minimum woes to the general public. The Front had cancelled the indefinite Limbuwan bandh scheduled from October 3 taking into consideration the festivals. He did not elaborate about the type of agitation, though he said the Front plans to resume it after the festivities.
