KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 1.5 million was destroyed in a fire at Malangawa Municipality of Sarlahi district on Tuesday.

According to police, the fire broke out at a photo studio owned by local Naresh Sah and spread to Raj Kishor Chaudhary's stationery shop adjoining to it.

With the help of locals and security forces, a fire brigade contained the fire, police said.
