KHOTANG: Property worth over Rs 10 million has been destroyed by fire in Khotang district on Thursday night.

According to District Police Office, Khotang , a house belonging to Ishwori Rai of Chyasmitar-5 caught fire and destroyed cash, gold and silver ornaments, three-storey building, grocery and clothe stores.

The fire was under control around 4:00 am with the support of police personnel and locals informed a local Mahasher Camparaj.

DSP, Bidyananda Majhi informed that the reason behind the fire has not been ascertained yet and investigation into the incident is underway.
