KATHMANDU: Police on Friday raided a godown of a grocery operated by an Indian national in Hadigaun, Kathmandu-5, and arrested its owners with a huge cache of firecrackers. DSP Kuldeep Chand, in-charge at Metropolitan Police Circle, Kamalpokari, said Raj Kishor Yadav was arrested with six sacks and two cartons of firecrackers hidden in the godown. Police have stepped up crackdown on the storage, sale and distribution of firecrackers ahead of Tihar.
