PANCHTHAR: Five persons including a ward chair have sustained injuries in an accident at Falelung Rural Municipality-6 in Panchthar district on Saturday evening.

The injured were identified as Ward Chair, Sujata Bantawa, Director at Deep Jyoti Youth Club, Sunil Bantawa, club members, Dipak Rai and Raj Kumar Rai and driver Ramesh Rai.

Slippery road condition caused by the rain led to the accident, police informed.

All injured have been taken to Panchthar District Hospital.
