PN-UML Chairman KP Shara Oli today accused the five-party alliance of eing against local polls. He urther argued that the incument government and the ive-party alliance had particiated in the government out f obligation.
Addressing his party's mass athering in Hetauda, Oli ade it clear that the alliance as against the polls fearing he defeat at the hands of the ML. "The alliance is trying to erail the polls and hatching a onspiracy against the polls," li charged.
Oli said workers had a great ole to make the world and soiety modernised, civilised and well-facilitated. He commented that only the agitation of labour was class struggle and their sacrifice was tremendous to usher in change in society. He argued that the UML was the only party representing workers and peasants.
In a satirical tone, Oli asked which poll symbol Nepali Congress would vote for in Bharatpur of Chitwan in the local election. He claimed that only the UML leadership could bring in development and prosperity in the country.
Oli accused the incumbent government of swallowing 24 lakh vaccines against COV- ID-19. Coming down heavily on Bagmati Province government, Oli alleged that the provincial government was plundering state coffers. He flayed the Nepali Congress and said that the NC did not have any policy for national development and prosperity. "NC is squandering time chiding the UML," he argued.
Oli said the five-party alliance could not defeat the UML in the local polls. "The alliance is scared of the UML as they can not defeat it," Oli stated. Oli urged the UML rank and files to pro-actively participate in the May 13 local polls.
"The unprecedented wave of people's support to the UML shows the party will bag victory in the local polls."
