SARLAHI, MAY 1

A man was found dead in Murtiya Jungle of Haripur Municipality in Sarlahi yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Bishnu Ghising, 31, of Gajura Municipality, Rautahat.

Police said that the youth might have been killed as the body was recovered with his throat slit in the jungle.

DSP Uma Shankar Yadav of Area Police Office, Barathawa, said the police team, along with trained dogs, had been deployed for close investigation into the mysterious incident.

Police said that Ghising was found naked in the jungle near Bagmati Irrigation Project, Gadaiya.

Wood collectors informed the police after they saw Ghising's body lying on the ground naked.

Ghising had come to visit his relatives in Barathawa Municipality from Rautahat.

Ghising had gone to the jungle to collect wood with his sister.

Meanwhile, police have arrested three suspects, including Ghising's relative and started the investigation.

Police said that Ghising might have been killed with a sharp weapon.

The body has been sent to Provincial Hospital, Malangawa for post-mortem, said police.

Police said they were investigating closely into the incident and would soon arrest the culprits.
