GORKHA: A flame had engulfed property worth around Rs 3 million in two separate places of Gorkha district on Monday night.

According to Surendra Bhusal, proprietor of Gorakhkali Cotton Industry, the fire had destroyed property worth around Rs 2 million of the industry located at Gorkha Municipality-7.

Similarly, the property worth around Rs 1 million of Shanker Tailor located at the same Municipality-1 was also destroyed by the fire.

The reason behind the both fire incidents was electric short circuit, informed police.

The fire was put off with the help of  locals and police.
