Flights to Khanidanda to resume today
KHOTANG: Khanidanda Airport in Khotang is all set to resume its services from tomorrow, as blacktopping of the runway has been completed.
Tara Air and Simrik Air have said they would be operating regular flights from tomorrow, Tara Air had conducted a test flight on Tuesday after the completion of blacktopping of runway. Durga Prasad Ghimire, Chairman of Airport Construction Consumers’ Committee, said that the two airlines have made public their regular flight schedules. According to him, Tara Air has announced to conduct one flight every Tuesday and Saturday whereas Simrik Air every Thursday.
The airport had halted all the services for the past six months for repair and blacktopping. Nepal Airlines used to operate three flights a week earlier, but it is yet to confirm its schedule now.
