FNJ appeals for financial assistance to ailing Journo Subedi

KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepali Journalist’s Corporate Province Committee has made a heartfelt request to aid Republica National Daily Journalist Arjun Prasad Subedi who is suffering from liver and bile duct related illness.

“Subedi who has been at the treatment table at multiple facilities including Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital and Bir Hospital in the past has recently undergone a costly surgery at Rela Institute and Medical Centre Chennai, following health complications,” FNJ informed.

The ailing journalist is in dire need of financial aid as he is impelled to replace bile duct shunts- medical devices that relieve pressure on the brain caused by fluid accumulation- in regular periods. As per Subedi’s kin, the medical procedure that Subedi has undergone recently requires more than Rs 4 million.

Given that, the FNJ has urged all the concerned to help Subedi by donating funds at A/C no: 00100101069271000001 in Prabhu Bank, Anamnagar in name of FNJ Corporate Province Committee.

Subedi who comes from Myagdi has worked as an active journalist based at Kathmandu for over a decade.
