KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 22
Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Devendra Paudel has directed the committee formed to monitor foreign universities and teaching institutions operating in Nepal to submit a field visit report within the next 15 days.
The committee shall visit the foreign universities and academic institutions in accordance with the existing directives related to the operation of higher education.
It may be noted that the five-year renewal of 85 foreign teaching institutions was terminated in mid-February last year.
Though all the institutions have applied for renewal, the monitoring was postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
