Forgery case against Rajendra Mahato

Rajbiraj, December 6:

A leader of Nepal Sadbhavana Party (Anandidevi), Ram Sagar Mandal, today filed a case of forgery at the Saptari district court against Rajendra Mahato, the leader of the disgruntled faction of the Nepal Sadbhavana Party.

Saying that Mahato forged his signature to prove his presence at a general convention of the disgruntled faction in July, Mandal also named former acting president of the Saptari chapter of the NSP-A Sushil Jha as an accused. In his petition to the court, Mandal also claimed that by forging his signature and falsely showing his presence at a convention, which passed a resolution against NSP leader Anandidevi, Mahato and Jha had violated clause 1 and 3 of the Civil Code.

NSP-A central disciplinary committee member Amarnath Mandal told this daily that NSP-A leader Dinesh Sah had also filed a case of forgery against Mahato on the same ground.

Mandal accused Mahato and his cronies of forging signatures of 12 NSP-A leaders of Saptari and of 33 more of Morang. Mandal said that those including Laxmi Yadav, Nathuni Prasad Khatwe, Bindeshwar Yadav, Ramdev Mali, Mahendra Prasad Chaudhari, Ram Krishna Gupta, Hare Krishna Bhindwar had participated in the convention.
