BHAKTAPUR: Former Industry Minister and patron of Aastha Nepal, Mahesh Basnet donated medicines to four different health posts in the district.

It is learned that 38 different types of medicines worth Rs 268,000 were provided to the health posts at Sirutar, Balkot, Dadhikot and Gundu.

While handing over the medicines to the health posts, Basnet said that India has failed to be a good friend by imposing border blockade that has badly affected the medicine supply among others in the country.

The inhuman activities such as vandalising ambulances and obstructing the supply of medicines have proved that the ongoing Tarai protest was against the people, patron Basnet added.
