KATHMANDU, JULY 6
Four members of a family were murdered in Dhodlekhani, Ram Prasad Rai Rural Municipality-2, Bhojpur, in a gruesome midnight attack on Saturday.
Rajendra Rai (30), reportedly killed his 16-year-old wife Manisha Rai, father-in-law Bel Bahadur Giri (68), mother-in-law Manju Giri (45), and nine-year-old brother-in-law Sapan Giri.
According to police, the suspect himself called the police at 1:15 AM to confess.
Rai, who sustained a deep abdominal injury, has been referred for further treatment.
Police suspect a family dispute triggered the incident, and an investigation is underway.
