Four girls rescued from circus

Biratnagar:

Four Nepali girls were rescued from Great Star Circus in Jharkhand state of India recently. The Biratnagar border police post on Saturday handed over the rescued girls to their respective families amid a programme here. Sunita Shrestha, 17, Durga Shrestha, 16, Samjhana Kumari Shah, 15, and Shakila Khatun, 16, of Sudi Tole in Biratnagar-21 were rescued acting on complaints lodged by their families. The girls’ families had sent them to work in the circus eight years ago.
