Four health workers held with bribe

POKHARA: Four health workers including District Health Office, Myagdi, Chief Bhim Prasad Acharya were caught red-handed while taking bribe from service seekers, CIAA said.

Acting on a tip-off, a CIAA team deployed from Pokhara apprehended DHO Chief Bhim Prasad Acharya, Ragunath Regmi, accountant Hari Shankar Sharma and driver Bhava Dutta Jaishi while taking bribe Rs 1,30,000 from service seekers, according to Megnath Rijal communication officer at CIAA extended office in Pokhara.

They had taken bribe from service seekers in the pretext of releasing funds of completed projects in the district, the anti-graft body said.
