JANAKPURDHAM: Dhanusa police on Tuesday booked four people for their alleged involvement in a gang rape.

The suspects have been identified as Aakash Sahani, Amar Sah and Firoz Rain of Dhanusha district and Rajesh Sah of Mahottari district, informed the Dhanusha District Police Office.

According to the police, six people including the four arrested had gang-raped the woman on May 23.

They were arrested following a statement recorded by the victim, police added.

Search for the two others, who are still on the run, is underway, they informed.
