Four hurt as two motorcycles collide head-on in Morang

URLABARI, MORANG: Four persons including three of a single family were left with injuries after two motorcycles collided head in Belbari Municipality-8 in Morang district on Monday night.

The injured have been identified as 30-year-old Ambika Koirala, his 28-year-old wife Samjhana Koirala and two-year-old son Asan Koirala of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-2. They were travelling on east-bound two-wheeler.

The east-bound motorcycle (Ko 7 Pa 2559) collided with another motorcycle (Ko 25 Pa 5354), injuring all four motorcycle riders near Chisangkhola last night, according to the Belbari-based Area Police Office.

44 -year-old Rudra Limbu of Rajarani area in Chaubise Rural Municipality-6 in Dhankuta district, travelling on the bike heading in a westward direction was also injured.

Meanwhile, the injured are undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, said Inspector Ramji Katuwal at the APO.
