Four killed in mishap

Chitwan, April 24 :

Four passengers were killed and 36 injured when a microbus and a minibus met with an accident at Bharatpur-9 on the East-West highway today.

The accident occurred when the microbus (Na 3 Kha 30) bound for Bhandara from Narayangarh collided head-on with the minibus (Na 3 Kha 1254) heading to Narayangarh from Birgunj, police said. Surendra Neupane, Rajendra Shrestha and Bir Bahadur Lama of Chitwan died while being treated. An unidentified man in his mid-forties also died in the mishap, police said adding that the condition of 10 injured persons is critical. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur Hospital.
