France provides $400,000 in food aid

Kathmandu:

France has provided $400, 000 in food aid for over 375, 000 people who have been suffering from droughts. The UN World Food Programme (WFP) in Nepal, in a statement issued on Thursday hailed the aid.

“After the renovation in Panauti in the 90’s and the recent Food Security Programme for Nepal, this food aid is the continuation of our support to poor communities in Nepal,” Michel Jolivet, ambassador of France, said.
