POKHARA: A French national was found hanging in a hotel room near Lakeside in Pokhara Lekhnath Municipality-6 on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Lesebrasrancis with passport number 16CK419748.

According to Kaski District Police Office, the body was hanging from a window rod with a bag lace on Friday.

The staff sensed a foul smell coming from the room. As they opened it, they saw the body and immediately informed police, said Kaski DPO.

He had been staying in the hotel since Monday. The body has been kept at the Western Regional Hospital.

Police are looking into the case.
