Biratnagar: The seven agitating political parties have formed an 1,111-member poll boycott committee against the coming municipal polls.

In a meeting at Jana Andolan chowk here on Saturday, the front announced its formation of the committee drawn from representatives from toles, wards, districts and sub-metropolis. The committee is chaired by Ramesh Chandra Poudel, former mayor of Biratnagar sub-metropolis. The committee today formally began its activities in the sub-metropolis.
