FSF-N likely to join Oli-led government soon: CM Raut

KATHMANDU: Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut has expressed optimism that Federal Socialist Forum Nepal is likely to join the Oli-led government in a day or two.

He further said "The government has committed to amend statue including various articles, clause and sub-clauses of the Constitution. We will join the government within two days."

Speaking at an interaction programme in the Capital on Wednesday, Raut said FSF-N led by Upendra Yadav will join the government.

"Yesterday party had decided to join the government under Upendra Yadav's leadership." Raut shared.

"While taking oath of the Office and Secrecy as CM I had committed myself to bring prosperity and development in the province. I will work accordingly. My first priority is good governance and attaining prosperity with extended development. To achieve this, I have a very capable team." Raut said.

"We are here for people, so we will work day n night to deliver services to people. We won't compromise for good governance." Raut stressed.

In comparison to other provinces, education, health and physical infrastructure are in pity state. Raut asserted that it is his responsibility to upgrade education, health and human development index of the province.

"Enough attention would be given towards the same." Raut asserted.

CM Raut remembed those glaring days when Nepal used to export its agricutlatural products to the neighbouring countries. However, time has elipsed and Nepal is reliant on other nations for daily consumable goods.

"Province 2 has immense potential in agriculture and we have plans to enhance productity in the region."

CM Raut, who is also the parliamentary party leader of FSF-N in province 2, also vowed to maintain zero tolerance against corruption and the provincial government is preparing laws for the same. "Acts are required to book the culprits."

As per the rule of law, criminals and corrupt ones will be booked. Raut said.

CM Raut also said that his government is currently concentrating on building infrastructure. "We are in zero level at the moment, we don't have offices to run ministries. Despite this odds, we are moving ahead in making this province a prosperous one."

Meanwhile, CM Raut also shared that PM Oli has assured him of extending any kind of support for the development of the province.
