MORANG: A 10-year-old girl drowned in a canal at Dangihat – 9 of Morang on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Jina Dhimal of the same locality, informed Inspector Meghraj Thapa of the Belbari Area Police Office.

The girl had gone to collect fodder and decided to take a dip in the Kesaliya Canal. But, she drowned instead, police added.
