Bara, April 5:

Koshila Chaudhari, 19, an examinee at the Anup Dipani SLC exam centre in Kolahabi of Bara turned up for the exam and delivered a baby today.

A student of Sapahi Higher Secondary School in Kolahabi, Koshila was writing her exam paper when she began having labour pains an hour later. She was rushed to a nearby clinic where she delivered a baby boy, superintendent of the centre Kebal Chaudhari said’.

In Pokhara, one Bikas Gurung, who is serving term for criminal activity, is appearing in the SLC exams, the Kaski district education office said.

In Phidim an assistant superintendent of the SLC exam centre at Phidim secondary school in Panchthar, who admitted that he acted against the norms of the exam, was expelled today.

Assistant superintendent Tejendra Bahadur Karki was found helping his relatives cheat in the exam and leaking out the questions to his other relatives outside the exam hall, chairperson of the exam coordination committee and Chief District Officer Hari Krishna Upadhayaya said.

In Tanahun, a woman, who had given birth six days ago,

is appearing in the SLC exams at the centre at Homraj Lohani Sharada Sikshya Sadan. Suk Maya Tamang is appearing in the exams from the Himalaya Secondary School, the superintendent of the exam centre, Parbati Koirala, said.
