JHAPA: Police on Thursday made public a teenage girl who was arrested on the charge of murder.

According to DSP Khadga Bahadur Khatri of the Area Police Office, Anarmani, Pramila BK of Kankai municipality-5 was arrested from Bhadrapur two days ago for her alleged involvement in the murder of Manorath Pathak of the same place.

Pathak was found dead in a room of B&Y Hotel in Birtamod on January 30. “They’d been staying in the hotel for six days.

But when we found Pathak’s dead body, the girl had been missing. This gave us enough ground to suspect her involvement in the murder,” said DSP Khatri.
