Dhangadi, May 22:

Puja Chaisur, 8, the daughter of Bhawan Singh Chaisur died last night when she was hit by a

bullet. The bullet pierced her teashop located near the Dhangadi Municipality Office. The relatives of the killed claimed that the bullet was fired by the police but Col Ram Sharan Karki of Teghari Barrack said it was an SMG bullet fired by the Maoists. The security forces rushed the girl to Seti Zonal Hospital where she died. Media persons have demanded that the government compensate the victim’s family regardless of who fired the bullet.
