DHANGADI, JUNE 18

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today said that Geta Medical College would be transformed into a health science institute.

Inaugurating administrative building of Dhangadi sub-metropolis in Kailali today, PM Deuba said a decision would be taken by the Council of Ministers for the same. "GMC will be made a health science institute and brought into operation after making necessary laws," the PM added.

The work on physical infrastructure has almost been completed.

Voice was also raised to make GMC a health science institute.

The administrative building was constructed at a cost of Rs seven crore, twenty-three lakh and forty-five thousand.

PM Deuba said that security checks would be managed in coordination with the home ministry at the border in Kailali aiming to provide easy service to the people. Sudurpaschim Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta urged to take forward the work on West Seti Hydroelectricity Project immediately.
