The price of gold fell by Rs 600 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday, continuing its downward trend from Monday when it declined by Rs 100 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 190,000 per tola today, down from Rs 190,600 on Monday.
In contrast, silver prices continued to rise, gaining Rs 15 per tola to reach Rs 2,165, up from Rs 2,150 on Monday - marking a new high in the Nepali silver market.
