KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 17

Gold price in the domestic market fell by Rs 1,000 per tola on Wednesday, a day after hitting a historic high of Rs 217,100 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 216,100 per tola.

Silver prices also slipped, declining by Rs 25 per tola. Silver is trading at Rs 2,550 per tola, down from Tuesday's Rs 2,575 per tola, the association said.
