Government must deliver: NC leader

HETAUDA: Vice-president of the Nepali Congress Prakashman Singh Shrestha today said that a change of guard was an available option as the government was failing to deliver.

Speaking at a press meet organised by Press Union Makawanpur in Hetaunda he said, "The Nepali Congress is not satisfied with the functioning of the incumbent government."

"The government has utterly failed to maintain law and order and has been unable to provide security. So, there is no alternative to changing this government unless it alters its working style."

He admitted that the new constitution was not possible by ignoring the Maoists. He said, "The onus to carry out the responsibility has come on the NC and NC has to lead the next government."
