BHOJPUR, July 30

Most government offices in Bhojpur were without their chiefs at the turn of the fiscal year.

Most district-based offices, including district administration office, district development committee office, along with offices of education, health, land revenue, forest and drinking water have been operating without bosses since the end of the fiscal.

Most of them are on leave enjoying their stay at home, while service seekers are facing problems due to their absence.

The assistant chief district officer has taken charge of the administration, and the assistant forest officer is standing in for his senior at the forest office. At other offices too, it is the junior staff who are looking after daily proceedings at the offices.

Chiefs of Cottage and Small Industry Development Committee, District Livestock Office, among a few others, went on leave from their duty stations from yesterday citing the ebb in workload, sources at the offices said.
