OKHALDHUNGA: Nepali Congress central member Shankar Bhandari criticised the government for promoting foreign intervention in the country.

“At a time when the government should be focusing on the agenda of prosperity and development, it has become a mere puppet of foreign powers intent on trading off our age-old identity and culture for dollars and Christianity,” he observed, speaking at a cultural programme organised by Nepal Cultural Association Okhaldhunga on Tuesday.

Further, dwelling on the immense prospects of development in the country, Bhandari informed about his party’s preparations to launch a nation-building campaign.
