Govt acquires 51 ropani land for dry port near Nepal-China border

RASUWA: Land acquisition for constructing a dry port in Rasuwa district, near the Nepal-China border, has been complete.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, Deepak KC, a dry port will be constructed in Timure VDC and land acquisition for the same has been already carried out. Distribution of compensation to the landlords is afoot, he added.

Around 51 ropani land has been acquired.

The District Administration Office, Rasuwa has demanded Rs 480 million from the Ministry of Finance to provide compensation for the acquired land.
