The government has blacklisted 12 companies for flouting rules and regulations related to procurement and construction.
Issuing a notice today, the Public Procurement Management Office, under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, said the blacklisted companies that were engaged in civil works, consulting, and supply of goods would be unable to compete for government tender for a certain period of time.
According to the PPMO, Bharat-Saptakosi JV Kathmandu has been blacklisted for two-and-a-half years, Haigreeva/Siddhi Sai Prakash J/V has been blacklisted for two years, Highway Construction Pvt Ltd of Bharatpur, Vidhi Builders Pvt Ltd of Kathmandu, Saibaba & Tara Construction of Khalanga of Jajarkot have been blacklisted for one year. Anukul Construction Service, Panchkhaal Construction Pvt Ltd, Prabhu Construction Service, Siddhijanak Construction & Suppliers Pvt Ltd, SSK Construction Services Pvt Ltd, Surmadevi Construction, and Nilgiri-National-Canon JV have also been blacklisted.
