TIKAPUR: An employee of Laljhodi based Chhoti customs office in Kailali was looted while he was on duty on Friday night. An unidentified gang of six to seven persons donning masks beat up Chhatra Bahadur Rajwar and looted Rs 5,100, a mobile phone and clothes from him, police said. It is said that Rs 4,300 of the looted amount was collected in revenue. The gang also attacked the owner of the house where the custom office has been set up. The gang had attacked house owner Bhupendra Saha with a khukuri and robbed a mobile phone and Rs 4,000 from him, said SI, Dharma Singh Bista. Yadav sustained injuries in his head and arms and was taken to Bhajani-based health post for treatment.
