Govt ready to hold talks with JTMM

Siraha, October 25:

Minister of State for General Administration, Ramchandra Yadav, today said that the government was ready to hold talks with the factions of the Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha anytime.

He said this while talking to the journalists upon his arrival at his hometown to attend a programme here.

He, however, said there would be no compromise on the issue of national sovereignty and integrity.

He said the government was concerned about the action of burning national flag in Siraha and Saptari district by the JTMM-G group a few days ago.

He warned of stern action against those involved in the incident.

Speaking at the Khutti river control programme, State Minister Yadav said the Khutti and Balan rivers inundate thousands of bighas of land in the region every year.
